1. Hi πŸ‘‹, What’s your name and your business?

My name is Debdut Mukherjee but my friends call me Deb (for convenience πŸ˜€). I’m a part-time Growth Consultant for SaaS companies and a full-time employee at a B2B Fintech SaaS company based out of Bangalore, India.

2. Can you tell us more about your background on how you started?

Back in 2016, when I was wrestling as a manual software tester at Cognizant, I was introduced to the concept of Digital Marketing. It piqued my interest and I got myself a job at an agency. I never looked back from there! Today, after having worked with 15+ SaaS companies in various capacities, I live and breathe SaaS and how to grow them. I help them with improving a particular metric (for e.g., CAC, Retention Rate, Product Adoption, etc.) through customized campaigns that yield high ROI. Some of the brands that I am working with are Totalcloud, Cookt, SendPilot and a bunch of others.

3. What does a typical day look like for you?

After finishing my 9 hours as a copywriter at my full-time job, I switch back to working with my clients. All throughout the day, one thing remains constant no matter what – I make it a point to read at least 1 case study on growth and know 2 new things that are happening in the world (can be anything).

4. Which tools are your favorite to work with?

TickTick is my favorite app. It helps me be productive. I manage all of my tasks there – professional & personal.

5. What is your favorite book?

Yes! I do have a favorite. It’s Never Split the Difference: Negotiating As If Your Life Depended On It.
